leliwhoaoh 27 Posted September 17, 2016 So, I've been on the liquid diet for 2 weeks prior to my vsg, and am now 11 days into a 3 week post op liquid diet (5 weeks total-ughhh). I'm super bored of the broths and Soups, so I asked my surgeon if I could add lime to some of my Soups and they said sure, but I forgot to ask about eating a spicy Soup. I got this Mexican tortilla Soup (i strain all the bits out) that has a nice spicy kick, but am wondering if it's too soon for my stevie the sleevie to handle the spice? Has anyone this far into their vsg had success eating (or drinking) different flavored soups? I'm so tired of chicken, beef, and vegetable soup.
