Primary/Secondary Insurance - any insight?

I'm thrilled to find this forum - and am hoping someone here may have some insight.

My primary insurance is Cigna, which an exclusion on bariatric surgery. Aetna is my secondary insurance and covers 100% - but will not cover any if the primary doesn't cover.

I will drop my primary during Open Enrollment this upcoming November. Then, Aetna will become my primary and I will be all set.

But, my question is - how can I start the three 3 month nutrition program NOW? I don't want to wait until November and THEN wait three more months if I can avoid it. I'm trying to work with the insurance coordinator at my surgeon's office but I feel like I just play phone tag with him day after day. We're getting nowhere!

I'd love to hear any input or suggestions!
