SamPSUfan 30 Posted September 15, 2016 Ok, so today was day 16 post surgery and I feel great. No problems at all. My only concern is that I lost about 10 pounds in the first 7 days and have only lost 1 pound in the 9 days since. Did this happen to anyone else? I know about embracing the stall and everything, but this was quick! I'm getting my Protein.....could probably get a bit more Water in, and I feel great. Clothes do fit noticeably different, so definitely good there. Just need to trigger some weight loss. jenjenp 63 Posted September 15, 2016 It happened to me around that time too. It lasted a little over a week. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Pescador 1,374 Posted September 17, 2016 It happens to almost everyone. There are more posts about stalls here than anything else, so you should carry on, don't weigh every day, and get out and enjoy life. Good luck!
IveGotThePower 395 Posted September 17, 2016 What is happening is normal. Everyone is different. See your NUT if you feel the need for a closer look at your diet. I alternate between inches then lbs. Back and forth.

limase63 39 Posted September 17, 2016 I am having same issues. I am also 18 days out. (Had surgery on August 30th). I have been scared I'm "eating too much" at 700 ish calories a day. I think it's all just part of the process?!? I hope so, bc if not, I'm seriously questioning why I did this to myself. I read that the weight loss is more like stairs than a slope. That makes sense to me. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
britknee 8 Posted September 18, 2016 Yes it happens. I stalled 2 weeks out. My weight did not change for 2 weeks. After the stall broke the scale started to move at a consistent pace. It's just your body's way of adjusting to the surgery and everything it's been put through. It will move again just keep doing what you're doing. Make sure u get plenty of Water in and your hit your Protein goal everyday. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Browneyedgirl41 176 Posted September 25, 2016 Yep. I'm in the same boat. I've heard of the "three week stall" before. I'm trying not to worry too much about it.
