Start My Liquid Diet Tomorrow

Hello Everyone! I start my liquid diet tomorrow and thankfully I only have to do it for a week. My surgery is scheduled for next Thursday, September 22nd. Any tips or ideas of products to try? I have Crystal Light, sugar-free Popsicles, chicken broth, Protein shakes (from my surgeon's office), and sugar-free hello. Also any tips or reminders for things I should do before my surgery date (besides what the surgeon has told me)? Feel free to share, anything is useful!

@@tiff291 I like Powerade Zero (no calorie drink) if you can have that. What kind of Protein shakes did they have you get? I have to do Bariatric fusion and I was wondering what flavors are best. Good luck tomorrow!

I have the same surgery date!!! I've been on my preop diet for 7 days already it's tough head hunger is real! if you feel like your about to give in message me I'll help you through it!!! the first few days are hard. but remember it's only 7 days

Hey! They gave me BariEssentials and I chose the strawberry flavor. I didn't care for the other flavor options

Hey, I still had some really strong gas pains this morning, but my husband got me out of the house and we walked around Walmart to pick up some things. By the time I left out of there and got back home, I was hurting. However, I was able to take off my dressings today and shower and I feel so much better. The swelling in my body has gone down quite a bit. Yesterday was rough for me too. I was nauseated the entire day. Today it's pretty much gone. Thanks for asking!
