ryan_86 335 Posted September 14, 2016 I had my procedure yesterday morning. I'm still very uncomfortable, especially with the gas working its way out of my system, and I have a lot of indigestion. Still learning how much Water I can swallow at once. Anyone have any novel advice for feeling better faster? The uncomfortable feeling doesn't change until at least two days after. On day 3 and 4 you start to feel so much better. Today I feel 80% back to normal. I do get this super painful tightening feeling whenever I am standing up from a sitting position. The sipping of the liquids is going to be your best bet to move the gas. Also, walking around a lot. No matter how uncomfortable it is. With the IV you should be wanting to pee a lot anyway lol. Have you gone to do your xray yet? My doctor ordered an X-ray the next day to make sure there was no obstruction or leaking. Right after that is when I was cleared for all liquids!! It will get better I promise. I am 14 pounds lighter since Friday!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
