Autumn Riley Arnold 92 Posted September 13, 2016 6 day post op and yesterday and today I feel soooo tired! I'm getting enough sleep, I'm averaging 84 grams of Protein, 4 bottles of Water, taking ALL the Vitamins and minerals I was told to take and I can barely keep my eyes open! What's up with that? catwoman7 11,221 Posted September 13, 2016 I was pretty tired the first few weeks, too (esp the first couple of weeks). I think your body's just exhausted from the surgery. It'll pass.
Millymollymandy22 3 Posted September 13, 2016 I haven't started the Vitamins as only got them today and I'm so tired. I'm 5 days post op. Have on off pain in my left ribs that only subsides if I lay completely flat. Not sure if this is wind or not? Any ideas? Autumn Riley Arnold 92 Posted September 13, 2016 (edited) Sounds like it's gas. That's the only pain I really had and it was bad. You need to walk, walk, walk! I walked for 2 miles yesterday and now it must be completely gone because for the first time since surgery I have zero pain! =) Edited September 13, 2016 by Autumn Riley Arnold

Autumn Riley Arnold 92 Posted September 13, 2016 Yeah, it is some of the worst pain out there! At one point it felt like my rib was broken!Sounds like you're doing great!! Shouldn't be too much longer, maybe one of two more days if you keep up the walking! xo
Courtney Fugere 6 Posted October 3, 2016 I have the same sort of left side rib pain. It's getting better every day, but I think mine is a combo of muscle/incision site tenderness and gas. I had my surgery on 9/28 and I was so tried today, I felt like I could have slept all day. I know it's part of it, but still tough. Then when I sleep, I feel like I'm getting dehydrated. So much to coordinate just to be "normal." I'm excited to be a few weeks out and have the energy boost I have heard people talk about. I'm already sick of cream of blank soup! AnnMarie23 13 Posted October 4, 2016 I had my surgery on 8/23 and had absolutely no pain, never took pain meds. I will say that I was extremely uncomfortable from the Co2 and was tired for about 2 weeks. I took many mini walks down the driveway several times a day. I'm now 7 weeks out and feel great, be patient you will start to feel better soon.
