OzRoo 1,492 Posted September 15, 2016 I had no coffee restrictions. Had my first cup first day post op. Been drinking it daily and never had any issues with it. Tami_Lynn 77 Posted September 15, 2016 I believe that caffeine is a diuretic because since surgery (5 weeks ago) I only pee 2-3 times a day. I used to pee 8-10 times per day with a bladder the size of a pea. (no pun intended) I have started back on my coffee this week and am peeing a lot more.
