BARIATRIC ADVANTAGE ?

Recommended Posts

Protein powders tend to be a very personal taste. I tried the orange creme Bariatric Advantage and ended up throwing the bag away. I mixed it with fairlife skim milk and it coagulated within 5 minutes and was clumpy and gross - but it could have been due to mixing with milk instead of Water. I've enjoyed the Unjury powders and the Syntrax Nectars as far as flavor and texture.

I just looked at those. Definitely cheaper than the Bariatric Advantage.

I do use the Bariatric Advantage calcium chews though - found those to be a better texture (less gritty) than the Celebrate Vitamins ones. I also tried the Calcet Creamy Bites Calcium chews - and while tasty and not gritty, they are very sweet and about 3x the calories of the bariatric advantage ones - and when you take multiples of them, that adds up. I just reordered calcium chews and bariatric advantage now has a coconut flavor that is yummy. I also like the strawberry. The chocolate is decent - tastes a little bit like a tootsie roll.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
