JlainottawaSleeve 1 Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) I had my sleeve surgery done on August 22nd. I feel great but I haven't lost one pound in the last 12 days! I eat fat free Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, chicken mixed with hummus in my food processor and I walk 45 minutes everyday. How is it possible that I've not lost any weight at all in 12 days? What's going on? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Edited September 12, 2016 by JlainottawaSleeve
potahto 26 Posted September 12, 2016 I read that plateaus happen and it's quite normal! But if you're really worried, perhaps you can talk to your nutritionist to see what you can change or switch and see if that works? Goodluck! JlainottawaSleeve 1 Posted September 12, 2016 I keep reading that too. But I just don't understand how I am not losing weight. Doesn't seem physically possible Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
KristenLe 5,979 Posted September 12, 2016 @@JlainottawaSleeve Your body is going through an adjustment. It's typical to stall around 3 weeks (search 3 week stall). Be sure to meet Protein and Fluid goals every day and the weight will come off! Measure yourself and you'll probably notice you are still losing inches even though the scale isn't moving. If you intend to lose a significant amount of weight, you will experience stalls. Almost everyone experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery. Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids, take your Vitamins and supplements as directed, exercise when cleared, stay off the scale.
