chycky 671 Posted September 8, 2016 I have read some that say yes, and I am sure they will pop over to explain. For me, so far, no but I was on normal schedule pre-surgery.
Chicken Lady 102 Posted September 10, 2016 My first month after surgery I had 2 heavy periods in 4 weeks (while still on blood thinners- NOT FUN), but at 6 1/2 weeks out (fingers crossed) it seems to be back to normal... madadams 130 Posted September 10, 2016 Yes. Bled constantly post op. Went on the pill. Didn't work. Ended up going on provera tablets then getting a sterilisation 4 weeks ago and an ablation on Monday. higher 966 Posted September 10, 2016 I had amenorrhea pre-op but so far had two completely normal periods since surgery 9 weeks ago. Exactly the kind I used to get before I started gaining a few years ago - 4-5 days w/ two that are heavier than the rest. So if this keeps up I would say that surgery totally restored my cycle to compete normalcy!
