jennk1975 16 Posted September 16, 2016 Probably nothing, but my friend had terrible nausea and eventual vomiting post surgery. She had a structure. She had to go to the GI lab where they could stretch it. It actually happened twice to her. I would talk to the doctor. Also make sure you are not dehydrated that can cause nausea as well. Mudgy6 88 Posted September 17, 2016 I understand what all of you are going through because I'm going through it now. It gets worse in the evening. My pouch doesn't tolerate any of the Protein drinks, not even the Atkins. All of them are too thick and too sweet. Just thinking about them makes me nauseous. It's so hard to eat when I'm not hungry. Water, it's like my pouch will take it sometime and sometimes not. I've spoken with the nurse and dr. My MEDS have been changed. Acid reflux meds twice a day and nausea meds twice a day. Everything was coming back up at first. Eventhough that's has eased up some, I feel miserable. I don't understand why it mainly happens at night. I get a nasty taste in my mouth and then I can't drink Water. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
