Secret Innocent 0 Posted December 4, 2008 Hi,Im sopposed to get my first fill in toronto in 2 weeks but as i read in other posts that there is a doctor in Ottawa that will do the fills. Does anyone know how much Dr. Bishop charges for a fill? Hi, What clinic were you banded at in Toronto? I'm not sure yet how much Dr. Bishop charges for fills but I can tell you he and his clinic are fantastic for support. He is just starting to be able to do fill for TLBC patients (which I am) so I haven't been for a fill with him yet. There is probably a post in here somewhere that tells how much it costs. I'm thinking $75 to $80 but again I'm not sure. A few local folks gather semi regularly for coffee and such. We plan them and support each other in the following Yahoo group. Feel free to join! juls779401 0 Posted March 23, 2009 Hello, I've recently been looking into to the lap-band surgery... There seems to be a few surgeons that are close to me.. Out in Ottawa... I will be contacting them but I am also looking for different opinions... I was wondering who your surgeon was, why you chose him or her and what the price of the surgery was? Thanks again for all the info! I can't wait to get this procedure done! Julie
ponygirl 0 Posted March 23, 2009 Hi Julie, I haven't been on this site for a year, but I just wanted to let you know that I was banded at TLBC now Slimband by Dr. Yau. I paid 16,000. It was the best thing that I ever did. I wish I had done it sooner. There are a few of us that meet for coffee in Bells Corners once a month and we have a group on yahoo. I think Secret Innocent post the link a few posts ago. You are welcome to join us for coffee and ask questions. We have all went to different clinics. Wheezy 0 Posted November 27, 2009 Hey Mandy is that you? I haven't checked out this site for about a year. So much have changed. I'm single again. My total weight loss so far is 85 lbs. I just had a defil in Ottawa with Dr Bishop and now I can eat everything I want. I'm still being careful but I have had at least a 5lb weight gain. I am waiting for a Barium swallo to she if the band has slipped. They don't think that it's possible but they want to make sure. Are you married yet? Are you maintaining your weight loss. So much catching up to do Louise Us old ladies like to get together and gab over cheesecake and coffee, Rob... sheesh. :rolleyes (that's why I'm lucky that LBT is my support as well! hehe)
