I would have offered delivery, but I can't stand the "boom chicka wah wah". If you would have gone to the 90's Divinyls hit, I might have considered it.

Divynyls? Funny, I get the reference. Or as Woody Allen said "Don't knock it, it is sex with someone I love".

Here's the recipe for the zucchini frites:

Zucchini Frites-

I zucchini cut into French Fry size pieces

1 egg and 1 tbl Water, beaten

1/4 c almond flour

1 scoop unflavored Protein powder

1 tbl garlic powder

Salt and pepper

1/4 c Parmesan cheese

1/4 Panko crumbs

Mix almond flour, Protein Powder and seasonings in a zip lock bag. Add zucchini and shake to coat.

Dip each in egg mixture, roll in Panko ( you don't need a lot- just a bit for crunch, so don't coat them in Panko)

Set on cookie sheet that has been sprayed and then spritz them all with Pam ( I use the olive oil spray) and bake at 425 til golden.

You can shave a little fresh parm on top, and drizzle some ranch on them too!

I'll simply fill 'em up with mine.

A quality over quantity scenario.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
