I think I am just sick but I have been coughing a lot in the last few days.. Can this hurt my band?

I have been taking cough medicine to help me to not cough, but now today I am having some acid reflux too.

Really I want to know if coughing is bad because I fear slippage.. BTW I have had the band since M arch.

I have been coughing in the middle of the night and having lots of acid reflux the pass week has been horrible. I don't know what to do it scares me because I wonder what is wrong.:help:
