tpasun 55 Posted September 6, 2016 When did you start feeling more energy? I'm almost 6 weeks out, have lost about 50 including pre op diet. I feel pretty good, but about the same as I did before surgery. I keep hearing that I'll feel so much better and I'll have so much more energy buy I'm just not seeing it. Doing really well with getting Protein Fluid and Vitamins, just still tired a lot, which was a big problem for me for a long time, I blame the sleep apnea. Maybe when I e lost enough that that clears up I'll feel it? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Djmohr 6,965 Posted September 6, 2016 It all depends on how much weight you have to lose. I started feeling the energy right around 8 weeks post op and it only got better from there.

The Candidate 3,215 Posted September 7, 2016 It was about the 6 weeks, two month mark for me. One day you'll just suddenly wake up and feel more energetic. And after a year... it'll seem like you're aging in reverse. It's incredible how fit and healthy I feel now. At least 20 years younger. Hang in there. The best is yet to be!
