You will get to talk to your surgeon- you might need blood thinners to prevent blood clots.

Four hours total over 2 flights on Wednesday. No problem.

I flew about 7 hours (2 flights) 2 days after surgery and am ok so far (surgery was 8/30/16). They should give you blood thinners and compression socks (they suck but wear them!)
