klmmom 17 Posted September 5, 2016 My surgery is across the country. Has anyone flown for 4 hours three days post op? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
KristenLe 5,979 Posted September 5, 2016 You will get to talk to your surgeon- you might need blood thinners to prevent blood clots. Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App

trynaa 7 Posted September 5, 2016 I flew about 7 hours (2 flights) 2 days after surgery and am ok so far (surgery was 8/30/16). They should give you blood thinners and compression socks (they suck but wear them!) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using the BariatricPal App

klmmom 17 Posted September 5, 2016 I'll make sure I speak with my surgeon about blood thinners and compression socks. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Tjwalk 9 Posted September 5, 2016 Tell them at boarding you just had surgery, sit close to a bathroom, and do seated leg stretching Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
