Tried cottage cheese for the first time - help me jazz it up

Recommended Posts

I have a seasoning called shallot pepper from Penzey's Spices that I love on cottage cheese. Lemon pepper is good, too. I buy those 'fruit only' spreads and put a teaspoon of that in 1/2 cup cottage cheese, and it's delicious (when you can have them).

I add a package of the powder of Jello into it and a little sugar free cool whip and pineapple if you can have it.

Or, add the Fat free, sugar free cheesecake flavored Jello pudding and some sf coolwhip (and crushed pineapple if you can have fruit). Sometimes you have to add a couple tablespoons of skim milk to it. Mmmmm.

Any spice store has wonderful spice "blends". There is a Thai coconut one I adore- as well as pesto blends, etc. All can be added to cottage cheese to give it a little zip- tiny amounts (scant) work, and as you transition to other foods, like chicken, you can continue using them to create different recipes.

Sorry to hear that! I always suggest small small exercises to people who have limited mobility. Start small, maybe lift the remote 40 times in on TV show or whatever can be a challenge to build on for you. Lifting legs up and down or having a small weight next to you. There are tons of "TV exercises." as far as good goes... As most of us can attest to, Protein protein protein. If that's not working I'd ask the Dr, maybe something else is off, going on?

I love cottage cheese but for you add salt and pepper, yummy. Now for greek yogurt add jam and splenda this is tasty.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
