It's been about 2 1/2 months since my surgery. I've lost 53lbs (83lbs since Dec). I wish you the best of luck. The 1st week is tough and than it gets easier. Let us know how you're doing.

Best of luck to everyone going in the next few days. It's one of the best decisions you could've made for urself. At times u may feel regret or frustration, but it will just be a little hurdle. Once you start to see the progress it will all be worth it. Remember we didn't become overweight in a week, so we sure can't loose the weight in a few days. This is all a learning experience.

Well, I'm one day post op and am home. Things went well. Now just dealing with the pain. Its not overwhelming. I suspect it will be this way another 2-3 days. I'm happy the surgery part is over. Now I can get settled and concentrate on this next week, one day at a time. Thank you all for the encouraging words!

Well first night at home........... It was not fun, sore, bloated and swollen. I am not hungry at all. I drink my Protein shakes every hour and drinking a lot of Water. I'll keep you guys updated. Thanks for all of the support
