speechiegirl 8 Posted August 28, 2016 Im flying from south Florida to San Diego with a stop over in Atlanta on Thursday 9/1. Anybody have suggestions for the clear liquid diet I will be on both ways? I will be traveling most of each day and am worried about how the heck I will stay nourished. Any suggestions for making the trips more comfortable will be MUCH appreciated. trekker954 421 Posted August 28, 2016 you will need to bring a shaker bottle, and nectar powder and bring your own bottled Water that you buy airside before you board. You can ask the flight attendant to fill your shaker bottle with Water when she passes with drinks (but don't depend on them to return). You can bring some powdered broth or cube and ask for hot water. If you decide to use your shaker bottle, make sure it doesn't leak when you shake it. Either test it at home, or shake it in the bathroom.

speechiegirl 8 Posted August 29, 2016 Thanks for the the great tips. I laughed at the thought of shaking my bottle on the plane and having it splash all over the person next to me. Ill be sure to test it prior to using it. Going to GNC tomorrow to check out Isopure.< /p>
JamieLogical 8,710 Posted August 29, 2016 I didn't bring a shaker bottle. just a collapsible funnel to keep in my carry on. I used that to get my nectar powder into bottles of Water I purchased in the airports.
trekker954 421 Posted August 29, 2016 With the shaker bottle. I had an "accident" in the office, thankfully in my own cubicle last time I was on a liquid diet. What a mess. I'm super careful after that. I fly alot and have seen many accident, mostly careless passengers with their coffee cups boarding.
bellamia1359 8 Posted August 31, 2016 I checked out the Isopure, but they won't allow you to bring it on the plane ... Do you mean purchase the big tub and put it in a shaker ? @@OKCPirate

highfunctioningfatman 2,675 Posted September 2, 2016 I bought Vitamin Water and found a restaurant that had chicken noodle Soup. I asked for just the broth and that I would gladly pay full price. No problem.
