Drinking too much water

Hi all has anyone just drank Water all day and no food intake. I know I am dehydrated,I've drank at least 8 cups so far. I can't go to the bathroom for#2.I'm almost 3 weeks post op. I pee once a day. However I am getting at least 60 grams of Protein a day.

There's a problem if you are drinking 8 cups of Water a day (assuming 8oz cups or larger) and only peeing once a day.

@@KristenLe that is what I was thinking. Make sure you are measuring Water and tracking it. Also, try drinking warm lemon Water and that will help "relieve" you. I would call your doctor too. What color is your urine?

Okay. You still may have a UTI. Better safe than sorry. I am worried about capacity post surgery. Still about 2 months out but I drink a minimum of a gallon a day now.

My urologist once he gets my culture back. I should be able to swallow pills by the 31st .

Does saying "my urologist" mean you have a history of UTI's or the current problem has been going on for the few weeks since surgery? I know nothing about the medical aspects, but the whole thing sounds miserable for you.
