Jobey 177 Posted August 30, 2016 Hey Guys, just emailed everybody who asked for the Protein ball recipe, check your junk mail folders if you don't get it [emoji4]
Buffy1 25 Posted August 30, 2016 Be sure to get a product with whey Protein isolate only. It's the best used/absorbed by your body. unjury, Celebrate and Optimal Nutrition Gold Standard (sold at GNC, Vitamin Shoppe and Amazon). Also Isopure at GNC/Vitamin Shoppe. Your doctors office should give you a complete list of necessary Vitamins and how to take them. I was told a Protein supplement is necessary for life. Because of the small amount you can eat, it's nearly impossible to get in 60-80 grams. Really the minimum for anyone. Xena23 1 Posted August 30, 2016 You make a mixture with Protein Powder and other ingredients (you need something sticky like Peanut Butter or coconut oil the bind everything together) and you separate and roll them out [emoji4] Please post the recipe!! Thanks!
lillithQ 9 Posted August 31, 2016 Apart from Protein Powder, nutritional yeast is a great source of Protein and B Vitamins. Get it from health food or wholefoods stores. It comes as little yellow flakes and has a mild cheesy flavour so it's great to add to savoury Soups, stews, eggs or other dishes. A nice change from the powders. TheRealMeIsHere! 863 Posted August 31, 2016 My doctor suggested hummus Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App I'm surprised, as that is higher in fat, carbs & calories and less Protein dense than many other options. Such as: Plain fat free Greek yogurt or Dannon Light & Fit Greek Fat free cottage cheese or ricotta Egg whites or egg substitute Turkey or chicken breast 93% lean ground turkey or beef, etc......
