hillij25 31 Posted August 24, 2016 Today is my one month and I just started soft foods. chicken, tuna ect. After I eat I get a really heavy sensation in my stomach. Obviously it's my first day really eating "real food" and I am chewing well and trying my hardest to eat slow but whenever I'm done I'm so uncomfortable. I'm not even eating the 2 oz that I measure out. Is his feeling normal? Will it go away? I don't want to be this uncomfortable after I eat all the time. Will I eventually be able to eat a little more? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Take very small bites (use baby utensils). You can also stick with purees if you're not ready. Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App
Clarevoyant 347 Posted August 24, 2016 I'm five weeks out and everyday gets a little better. I can definitely eat larger quantities of soft foods like yogurt than chicken. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

suzzzzz 1,005 Posted August 24, 2016 Also, don't eat until you are full. Stop when you are satisfied. We no longer have to clean our plates.
