KristenLe 5,979 Posted August 24, 2016 Are you tracking your food/drink? Are you getting enough Protein? Have you increased carbs or calories from liquor or drinks (soda, juice, etc)? You have to look at what you are eating and drinking? Schedule an appointment with your nutritionist to see if there's something you can do to kick start the loss again! You've done great to lose 85+ lbs in a little more than 5 months. It's just time to shake this stall up. Valentina 2,642 Posted August 24, 2016 Congrats on your joyful and successful journey so far. From time to time our bodies need a breather to catch up with what our brains are telling them to do. After so many years of eating "x" amount of calories everyday, and now all of a sudden----WHOA!! Your body is just can't keep up with the change that your brain is swirling at it. Keep with your regimen. Be patient. Your "sand is shifting". Have you noticed your clothes fitting a bit looser? Are you breathing a wee bit easier. There are many stages of WLS. You know that If you insist on being a worrier, call your bariatric team and make an appointment to brainstorm with your Nut. Perhaps some tweaking is in order. You are doing a "Maaaavelous job, Daaaaling".
alighterkaan 128 Posted August 24, 2016 I had surgery in February of 2016. Started at 399 and I'm down to 314. I'm also at a stall and up a few pounds after vacation. Stalls are the worst, and regardless if it's a 2 day stall or a 2 month stall, it feels like it lasts forever. Take photos and measurements! I almost guarantee that your body is changing! We've got this
provenzee 262 Posted August 24, 2016 I had my surgery on February 2nd, and I am currently stuck in a stall as well. It has lasted about three weeks (Saturday will be four weeks since I've lost anything). I'm not that worried, yet. I am going to shake up the exercise routine and see if that helps at all. Good luck, and push forward. We can break it
