Too many emotions right now. Of course don't want any complications, so worried about the unknown afterwards. I know it will all be worth it come 6 months from now.

You will be just fine....think positive. I wish it was me, I have to wait until the Sept.22nd, I'm ready now. Just make sure you follow you surgeon's guidelines and everything will work out in your favor. Remember to sip sip sip and walk walk walk after surgery. Mine was last week. 8 days out now. I had the same worries so it's normal. I was so scared to the last second before i was put to sleep. But it is all worth it. I'm 11 lbs lighter after 8 days.

I am not having surgery until June, but I have days when I think"I'm not doing it, it's too scary", then, something happen like today. I was turned down for a promotion because " I don't have enough self confidance" it makes me realize just how much the weight is taking away from me, and I'M SICK OF IT! I wish I could do it tomorrow!

Nerves and fear of the unknown are very real but normal. It is difficult to have patience during the process. Just know you always have support here and most of us are so glad we made the journey. I am 4 years out and 125# lost.
