Is the Ghrelin removed during RNY or just the VGS?

As far as I can tell the Ghrelin levels decrease in both:

It is decreased in both. I took a nutrition class and I learned this.

It is cut temporarily but not forever. From my experience though at 10 months out from RNY, hunger is a very different animal. I no longer get that gnawing at my bones hunger. It's more like "I should eat" and so I do.
