Soma is a brand with their own stores usually at higher end malls and shopping centers. I have only purchased the stunning support line and they are well worth the $60 price tag (and at my size I can't get a bra for less than $50 anyway). I am a DDD or a G cup depending on the cut of the bra, so don't have a ton of bra options and I need something comfortable. Their bras are comfortable, well made, pretty, and they do a lot of work. They smooth the side and the back. They have a back smoothing line, I haven't tried it but I will next time I am in the store.

I wear the stunning support line https://www.soma.com/store/category/stunning-support/cat8589275 I have the full coverage and the strapless.

I wear Body by Victoria bras from VS, the lined full-coverage ones. They're very well made, and I abuse my bras (wash them in the machine not in a bag!). I'm (or was) a 36DD and find that their bras fit quite well. I've also worn Soma bras for years, from way back when Soma was still in the Chicos catalogs! They're very nice as well. The only line at Soma that I've been displeased with is the back-smoothing style. It's too stretchy and the bands just don't seem to stay put, regardless of size.

I recently bought a Bali bra at a department store and it feels stiff and scratchy compared to my VS and Soma bras.

They have up to 40G in the VS stores. They have 38DDD and 40 DDD and 40G. I know because those are my sizes and I can buy bras and panties in the store.

Wow, I have been through the bra drawers and never seen anything like that in the Plano or Frisco TX locations. Maybe it depends on the size of the store? Or maybe they have them in the back and I would have to ask?? Not that it matters, I found an Olga bra I love at Kohl's, every time I get a 30% off I go buy a couple more. I have a ton of them, I will be sad when they get too big (although I know my husband will be praying my boobs don't go away, hehe)

@@laceemouse The store I go to has them right with the regular bras, they don't come in every style obviously but they are not hidden away. I'll take a picture next time I am in there. The store I go to is in the largest mall here, next time I am in a smaller mall, I will check there.

I think they just added these sizes though. I just start shopping at VS in the past few weeks.

Serious question:

Now that I'm at goal, I still have a pretty pokey out pannus. I've tried shape wear, but I spill out over the top where my tummy fat is. How do you deal with that? Shape wear that goes all the way up to my boobs?

I like shift dresses, personally. :D Or skinny jeans and swing tops.

Well I think it is inexpensive, I mean $60 is about average, but some people act like it is a lot, so I am pretending that it is a lot so people on the internet don't get mad.

Sixty bucks for a bra IS a lot when you buy a few at a time. BUT!!! BUT!!!

A bra is a neccessity!! It's the foundation of your wardrobe and a properly fitting bra will support your chest and save your shoulders and back.

Yeah. That's worth $60. A great bra is worth a lot more.

It's kind of like shoes. You can buy cheap shoes at Payless and kill your knees, feet, hips and back, or you can invest in properly fitting shoes made for your fitness/professional needs and be a helluva lot more comfortable in the long run.

I have boobs like flat pancakes now, still better smaller in size to what they were before .... huge and uncomfortable.

Maybe one day I can have them lifted .....

My arms are bit floppy, I feel I want to tape them up.

These are the only post op floppy effects so far.

On the great side is my face, looks like the weight loss was a natural face lift! My eyes are big again, and I look about 10-15 years younger. Very happy with that :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
