I don't mean getting paid for missing work, but having my partial absences not count against me and hurting my attendance. Grateful for your help. Christinamo7 4,042 Posted August 22, 2016 yes you should be able to apply for intermittent leave to cover your appointments. I had continuous FMLA for the surgery it's self and I have intermittent FMLA for a year to cover my doctors visits. for that same reason. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

bevmccarthy 26 Posted August 23, 2016 I have Fmla For the intermediate dr visits, they can't do anything as long as you have it. When my date is scheduled I will get the papers for the continus for surgery. Which is sent to my insurance now.
