coleen100 19 Posted November 20, 2016 I use Chia seeds soaked in Water. I add them to my Water and drink them. They are tasteless and slip right down. 2 tbsp of hydrated seeds twice a day and no more constipation....ever! lowbmi65 65 Posted November 20, 2016 I'm three weeks in and getting nearly 1,000 calories a day. Are any other women having as many calories as that? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I can only get 700 to 800 calories a day, wish I could get to 1000. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App I don't like fish or chicken so eat beef, lamb or pork. They are more calorific I think. I also eat low fat babybel cheese as an afternoon snack. I'm still losing so have stopped fretting about it. But I have bad Constipation so need to figure that out LOL Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

La_Strega_Sa 33 Posted November 22, 2016 I had my surgery on 10/31. Had issues with extreme fatigue and weakness. I was having trouble washing my hair because it was a chore to hold my arms up that long. As far as Constipation issues... none here. I do, however, drink a boatload of broth. I have a difficult time with plain Water, so i've been making chicken broth. I see some of you who have gone back to work after 4 days or so.. I was in the hosp for 3 days.. cannot imagine having to go back to work so soon. Tomorrow, I get to start soft solid food. I am very excited. Just in time for Thanksgiving.. La_Strega_Sa 33 Posted November 22, 2016 @@coleen100 With regard to your heartburn, are you on any PPI ? When did you start to have heartburn? Is it all of the time, or do you know the triggers?
coleen100 19 Posted November 22, 2016 I was on ppi for 20 days post surgery then my surgeon asked me to stop. So the acid could level on its own. I never had any heartburn or acid reflux prior to sleeving. I now gave in and take zantac daily. The heartburn can be from Water.
