Ok - day 2 much better once the gas pain went away. Never been asked so much about flatulence lol. Surgical pain mild. Going home tomorrow. My advise WALK WALK WALK WALK - really helped. Good luck gang

Leaving for the hospital right now..... Omg I have to admit I've talked my out of this surgery at least 15 times in the last hour. This is so much more scarier than I'd ever imagined. I know i won't regret it but wow these emotions are intense.

I was super emotional as well, particularly the day before. I'm now 2 days post op and feeling fine, hardly any pain. You'll be fine. Just breathe and think positive thoughts.

Wasn't doing much in the hospital until day 2 in the late afternoon. I was super sleepy as well. My nurse told me to try and get up every hour or so and walk for a couple of minutes at a time which I've been doing all afternoon and feel so much better.

Same here I walk every opportunity I can and it really helped. Day 1 post op I was like OMG what have I done. Now I'm feeling better
