Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has this same thing? I've looked all over the internet and can't find anything not one thing not even images of other people. My inner thighs have fat hanging the best way I could describe it is if you take a pair of panty hose and fill it with sand maybe 2 pounds. Where it's connected to my body is skin i feel very little fat but at the bottom it's like that's where it all went. I asked my Dr and he said that's what it is a pocket of fat. Has anyone had experience with this? Any suggestion of exercise that would help reduce this? I prefer a home workout because I can't really afford a gym membership and no I don't have cable or any real frivolous things, except internet.

Please help I'm ok with flabby arms and hanging fat from my stomach. These things are ugly and I can't even wear shorts comfortably without fear that they will hang out, which they do if I sit wrong.

Thank you in advance.

Massages to break the fat pocket up, deep tissue ones, they are going to hurt you might bruise. Then walking or running. The only thing you can do is lose more weight, but massages to break it up will help a lot.

I have the same thing. I have both lymphedema and lipoedema in my legs. I am currently undergoing treatment for the lymphedema with a physical therapist. I am not sure there is a treatment for the lipoedema other than fat loss and eventual skin removal surgery. Believe it or not, my inner thighs were the first place I noticed weight loss.

You really can't spot reduce fat. You can tone and firm muscle.

My exercise of choice is swimming. It is a great all over exercise, easy on the joints, and feels great. I also happen to be blessed with a pool at home.

Maybe hard pressing , rolling and wrapping the fat pockets. Then us those body wraps I see on the Internet . Just a thought.

Thanks Teena

Not sure what all that means but I'll look it up. hahaha thank you.

Really massages? interesting. Thank you very much it's funny you say that because I just purchased another Tens unit today due to my old one of several years broke. Maybe I'll try that since there is a deep tissue setting.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
