RoseyM 2 Posted August 20, 2016 My surgery was Tuesday and other than a bit of pain I'm doing pretty well. I am curious about getting liquids down i see all these people posting about struggling. Today I got in 50oz of Water, through the day 11oz of protien shake and 2oz of broth with no deal problem. I only did 2oz of protien at a time but didn't really have any trouble with it. I am just afraid I will already screw it up this early on... was it easy for anyone else to do liquids? I know solids are another story Sent from my SM-S978L using the BariatricPal App
RaulG 1 Posted August 20, 2016 You can't screw it up with liquids, they just funnel through your pouch. I was able to hit the same goals about the same time you did! So you're right on target! Congrats all around! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

That's kind of how I thought it liquids they go down the same as Water I mean I can tell with the protien this morning I tried to do 3 in a sitting and was like nope. I figure solids is when the measuring becomes super real! I just got nervous with all the people saying they can't get liquids in hardly! slvarltx 332 Posted August 20, 2016 Remember the leak test? I could see the barium pass immediately through my stomach and into my intestines. I was one of the lucky ones too on being able to get in liquids very easily from the beginning.
