bdfletch 166 Posted August 17, 2016 So I figured I would update everyone on my journey. I was 6 months post op on August 12. I have lost over 42.25 inches and I'm down 85 pounds. I know it is normal but I have a hard time seeing the weight loss. I know the scale is moving but I still feel huge. I still have about 50 pounds to go but thought I'd share some pics. The one in the black pants was the first day of school last year. The one in the dress was the first day of school this year. The other two are just a before and after side view. OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted August 17, 2016 @@bdfletch I can tell the difference but it looks like you are wearing clothes that are too large for you. You will never see the difference or feel the difference if you keep wearing loose flowy clothes that are too large! Get some clothes that fit, you will feel so much better. rebecca wills 190 Posted August 18, 2016 How do you feel, do you see the significant changes in how you move? Getting up out of your car? How much real estate when you lay in your bed. These are major mile stones. Some people look at numbers but let's internalize. I'm thrilled to cross my legs. To fit in old clothes! Rapid weight loss causes psychological tricks on us. You may need to do some talking and therapy. Your gonna think this strange but get naked and stare at every inch of your beautiful self. They call it reaffirmation. It's learning to know and Love your new self. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
