Christinamo7 4,042 Posted August 17, 2016 the liquid part is the hardest part! I would imagine harder preop - but plenty hard post op too. hang in there. maredarlin 12 Posted August 18, 2016 I'm on Protein shakes too for two weeks (this is middle of day four for me). My doctor said I could add some low-sodium chicken broth if I needed to. Day one was hard - hence the looking into broth. But mostly I'm doing okay except today I have been craving a soft pretzel like no one's business.
