lrmd 28 Posted August 17, 2016 I have a similar coworker who is never happy. We have all gone out of our way to make her feel valued and nothing works. The best thing to do is be professional and nothing more. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

BQCadet 11 Posted October 30, 2019 What Daisee said is absolutely right. People that treat other people like this have a problem with themselves. They take it out on others because it is easier than dealing with their own problems. My advice is to engage her only when she talks to you first, and even then just be nice but not personable. The single greatest change I made in my life the older I got was to stop trying to make everyone like me or caring if they do or don't. Just be yourself and if someone doesn't like you then that's their problem. It is not your responsibility to change their mind. Jesus told us to love everyone, that is true. He did not, however, tell us that we had to actively seek out people that didn't like us to try and make them like us. Be kind and compasionate, but do not put yourself in abusive positions. 1 Bari_KS reacted to this
