forever changed 39 Posted August 14, 2016 So I am really in a state of shock. At pre-o.o on July 12th I was 384. On surgery day July 25th I was 369. Today the scale read 332. I was not expecting to lose so fast. I am try happy but I'm shock. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App

Seeing your "Yes I am thankful for any amount lost" drew me back in to say I hope you really are of such sound mind. It wouldn't be nice to tease about something like that. All the best. Why would I not be of sound mind? As with many people on here I wanted to share my joyous moment. I am still happy with my decision to have this surgery even though I have had some complications. I don't live a life of regrets. So I would be just as thankful for losing 20lbs as I would be for 50. I don't have a negative mentality. I have read several posts where people are just not happy with their progress. I truly do have the mentality that some is better than none. I expect stalls and possibly a few gains. I try to be realistic. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App
thatmeanone 240 Posted August 14, 2016 That's awesome! Congratulations! And I agree - it's really nice to see someone with a positive outcome looking at it with positivity! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
IveGotThePower 395 Posted August 14, 2016 Congratulations on your weight loss! Fantastic attitude. I too was/am shocked most of the time. When I try on clothes, feel more comfortable in daily life and have more energy. The scale is actually going down for a change and it stays down. I have stalls, but I also notice that I loose inches during those stalls. An AMAZING tool. Finally, something that actually works! And I do enjoy food just as much as I did before. Just low carb, which (shockingly) hasn't been an issue. Truly a miracle! Stick with your eating plan and I think you will enjoy the ride
