mistyschn7 0 Posted August 13, 2016 I'm 2 years post op. Had horrible time the past 2 years with strictures, ulcers, and revision surgery last October. Now that I can eat I'm starving all the time. My start weight was 245 Got down to 123 now I'm at 156 surgeons goal was 145. I have fallen off the wagon any advice to get back up and lose about 20 lbs. I feel fat again and its a mental struggle now! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J120A using the BariatricPal App
James Marusek 5,244 Posted August 13, 2016 There are two phases to weight loss surgery. The approach for each phase is different. This is the approach I am using in the Maintenance phase. http://www.breadandbutterscience.com/Surgery2.pdf

SMILEYLG 0 Posted August 21, 2016 James! Thanks so much for your reminder of the maintenance phase. I'm 1 1/2 years out and am struggling after they allowed me to add carbs back into my diet. I've gone back to the wrong kind of carbs and they take me over. Your post has given me a reminder of what I need to be doing. Thanks!
