OzRoo 1,492 Posted August 19, 2016 @@dede_mont Wow, sorry to hear you were admitted to the hospital, but I am glad you got treatment, and are feeling better and no more dehydrated! Great to hear you are drinking lots of Water now. I myself can now chug large amounts of Water at a time. So, stay well
MNovalis 93 Posted August 19, 2016 Isn't this very similar if not the same as dumping syndrome. It happens if you eat to quickly or eat very sweet food. I'm 7 weeks out and have similar symptoms if I have something sweet. It's a very unpleasant feeling. Dumping syndrome can be triggered by different foods for different people, sometimes food that is too dry or to high in fat, but typically it's sweet food eaten to quickly. Sent from my SM-G920I using the BariatricPal App Dumping syndrome can definitely cause havoc. Like everyone else is saying, time will tell those triggers. And your actually reactions with the dumping syndrome can vary. Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App I'm pretty sure this is what happened to me this past weekend. I pureed some Soup because of the high Protein content (19 grams) but I failed to notice the carbs. Well, I also failed to notice that it contained Pasta. I only got down about 2 ounces before I felt full, but that was fine because it was 'real' food and it tasted SO good! About 30 minutes later, I made my way back to the bedroom where my husband was and told him I didn't feel so well...next thing I knew, he was helping me up out of the floor. I had actually passed out. I wont go into detail about everything else that had happened, but it is definitely something I do NOT want to go through again!
