thisgirlhunts 94 Posted August 12, 2016 Generally, co-morbidities for bariatric surgery are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, sleep apnea, and possibly others like GERD. I think they are probably just asking about Migraines in regards to knowing your total health history, just like they will ask about previous surgeries. Caffeine withdrawal can spark a Migraine.< /p> It is always better to know going in if a patient will probably suffer caffeine withdrawal , therefore a migraine. There are meds that can be ordered to have ready ---before the migraine has time to settle in. Migraines are no fun on a good day. Waking up after WLS with one is torturous and unnecessary. That definitely makes sense because mine are horrible. Nothing usually works and they last til the next day sometimes.
