Jellybean55 14 Posted August 12, 2016 Does anyone know if you can have either of these during the blenderized period? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Qwalla 132 Posted August 12, 2016 Not sure. I just used Nalleys canned. Not sure they would be much different.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted August 12, 2016 Does anyone know if you can have either of these during the blenderized period? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I don't know why not as long as you blend the chili (it is a bit chunky). What does your program/NUT say? kzoojason76 44 Posted August 12, 2016 Always fall back to what your NUT says, but I put a small chili in the blender and it was great!! I wasn't able to eat the whole thing though.

KristenLe 5,979 Posted August 12, 2016 @@Jellybean55 You should be able to have the Tomato Soup - but be careful - I noticed last week that Panera has some added sugar in their Soups. I think you'd have to blend the chili as others mentioned.
reeniemay 64 Posted August 12, 2016 I was allowed blended chili but no Tomato Soup. But that was in my list of foods. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
tanyarahmes 119 Posted August 12, 2016 I had the Wendy chili it was the best thing it went down easy for me no problems Sent from my iPhone
daniotra 298 Posted August 12, 2016 I blended homemade chili when on purée. You could have the Tomato basil on full liquid as long as you avoid the chunks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted August 12, 2016 You can make chili at home in about 10 minutes. Why bother eating out when you don't know exactly what is in it? The macros on the Panera Tomatoe basil are terrible, it is basically just empty calories unless you are adding Protein powder to it. Weight loss and maintenance is a lot easier if you cook. If you are not preparing your food you really have no idea what you are eating.

OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted August 12, 2016 @@CLN.BK brown a pound of ground beef, or turkey in a skillet, heavy bottom is better. Drain the fat add a tablespoon of this https://www.penzeys.com/online-catalog/chili-3000/c-24/p-73/pd-s (most store chili seasoning has sugar in it) Add a can of chili Beans http://www.bushbeans.com/en_US/product/mild-kidney-chili-Beans Add a can of diced tomatoes Like https://www.delmonte.com/tomatoes/diced/green-pepper-and-onion so you don't have to chop Simmer for at least 30 minutes on low so the flavors meld I don't eat chili because the macros don't make sense for me, but that is the fastest and easiest way to make and you can have a child do it. It doesn't require a lot of chopping or active cooking.
