Have you tried walking an additional 10-15 min a day? From what I read it goes a long way.

My surgery was 7/11 and I hit a stall at 2 weeks post op and have only lost 14lbs my start weight was 200lbs so a little on the smaller side, I didn't dry my expectations to high but I did expect to see a few lbs loss per week! It was suggested to me to measure myself to see if I'm loosing inches instead of bothering with the scale and driving myself mad, so I had my husband hide the scale and I will not get on it for 2 weeks, I'm just going to focus on getting in my protein/fluids and work out and pray for a loss in 2 weeks! Don't be discouraged good luck

[emoji22] You'll need to increase fluids - and avoid sodium. Keep an eye your BP too.

Sitting in a stall as well! I was 7/27. Trying to make sure to get my Water and Protein in. Apparently it's totally normal and keep reminding myself that (whether it's working or not is a different story!)

When I hit my first stall, I started my 10,000 steps a day and it moved the scale again. I am now an official Mall walker...come rain or shine.

The first stall lasted 5 weeks. I was beyond frustrated even though everyone in here suggested I be patient. The second one lasted a week and because my blender broke and I stopped taking my Protein. Three days after I started taking my Protein again, I started losing again.

I can and I will.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
