charley27 164 Posted August 9, 2016 When were you allowed to have apples or peaches? I'm 6 weeks post OP. They allow me to have fresh fruits and veggies at 6 weeks but I wanna make sure I won't get sick! How were your experiences? brendaleecantu 33 Posted August 9, 2016 I'm 10 weeks out and I started eating fruits and veggies around week 8. Just chew, chew, chew and you shouldn't have a problem. I didn't. I can't eat too much but it's nice to eat something different. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using the BariatricPal App

krissy41 1 Posted August 9, 2016 You should be able to eat them but without the skin for now. I think it's like 3 months out that you start have the skin on but like she said...chew, chew, chew. Sent from my VS985 4G using the BariatricPal App
Sophie74656 1,572 Posted August 9, 2016 If you like apples and peaches.... as a sweet treat I filled a crock pot with apples and peaches and cooked them down to mush. Then added a tsp of vanilla. The best applesacue ever!
