KristenLe 5,979 Posted October 24, 2016 October 18th .. I haven't even been able to drink one whole bottle of Water .. very scared of getting dehydrated Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Hi Surgery Buddy! Keep drinking- you need to stay hydrated- you'll feel better. Try other fluids. Power Ade zero, sf popsicles were my go-to for a few days. Also hot tea. Hang in there. Hi all. Just had my bypass on Monday morning 10/17. Home now. Really bloated. Walking as much as I can. How are my October buddies doing Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Hey there, I had my surgery on Tuesday, October 18th and I'm doing pretty darn well. I came home on Thursday and I've been out for two or three walks daily. My only concern is that I'm retaining a bunch of Fluid. I know this because my weight went up and not down. That was a bit discouraging. I hope all of your October surgeries went great.

I cannot wait until I can sleep like normal again!I've been sleeping on my side since the night of surgery. I have very little pain or even soreness in my abdomen. It's unusual but I'm not complaining - I sleep for 10 hours a night. Hope you can sleep better soon!
