ppressey24 254 Posted January 25, 2017 See FayBee, I feel the same way about getting back down to my Dr goal weight for me. Of course he thinks I should get back down to my size 5 for my height, 5'7, but I wanna stay at a 8-10. I'm 52, and I wanna keep some of my curves. At size 5, I was straight up and down...lol. I'm at 3months now and I'm down 102lbs, so in my head I only have 30lbs to go before my goal. I go back in April. Today he said I was way over 45% already and was very proud. But now, I don't know how to slow the progress up or is there such a thing. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
FayBee 285 Posted January 25, 2017 (edited) Thank you everyone! I'm 5'4ish. I started at 256lbs Surgery weight was 246 3/16/16 Current weight 162 1/25/17 94lbs down! I'm a comfortable size 8 right now. I did buy a pair of Michael Kors dress pants the other day that are size 6, but they just seemed to run really big. (Vanity sizing). According to BMI charts I still need to lose 20lbs. I'm still overweight. I know a lot of people say not to read to much into it. But it's hard not to. I did also look at the height to waist chart and I am 1 inch away from the healthy waist line. It's at 33 inches and I need to be at 32 inches. As time goes on what I realize is you have a new "normal"and sadly we still overly critique our bodies. My focus now is toning! I'm trying not to obsess over the number I really want to reach the 100 lb loss by 3/16/17! That's my goal right now!
