jccanada 314 Posted August 5, 2016 I'm just over three months out. The past 4 or 5 days, I've been working having strange issues in my chest. Understand ..I'm under a huge load of stress between my 12 year old with HORRIBLE..INSANE...ADHD.. my husband who is working two jobs and I see 15 minutes a day (also with horrible PTSD and highly grouchy working 18 hours a day and sleeping 3.) As well as myself going through a change of jobs. The issue is... I feel like food is stuck. I know it is not. I threw everything up last night to be sure. Since then I can hardly even drink my Water much less eat. I have eaten about half of a 1/8 pound hamburger patty and hardly drank. When I do, it feels tight in my chest. I'm thinking I'm just having anxiety issues. From stress. It feels like an anxiety attack I had years ago. I'm just so nervous that it could be something else. Has anyone had similar issues? I'm going to my surgeons office at 9am. They want to check for h pylori. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
Djmohr 6,965 Posted August 5, 2016 Not sure if it anxiety or maybe you did have something stuck last night and after throwing up it has irritated you. Maybe try going back to liquids for a day or two and see if it improves. Are you a sleever? It also could be a nasty case of reflux brought on by your food and stress combined. If you are RNY then, I am guessing it might just be irritated. I am really glad that you are going to the doctor though. That is the right thing to do if you feel you cannot eat at this point. jccanada 314 Posted August 5, 2016 I'm RNY. I've never felt this before not had any issues like this that linger. I have had stuff stuck and over ate/ate too fast.. but I knew exactly what that was and it was my fault. This chest pain has been ongoing for about 4 days.. worsened by my taco last night. jccanada 314 Posted August 5, 2016 I have noticed that reflux/heart burn feels COMPLETELY different now than it did prior to surgery. Almost hard to detect. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
