KllrCrly97 7 Posted August 3, 2016 So I'm 2 weeks post-op and started my semi-solid foods today. I have been through an emotional roller coaster dealing with my food addiction since pre-op diet started. I am happy to tell that my worries have subsided because I was able to tolerate everything I tried today! Yogurt, oatmeal (watery), and a softly scrambled egg with some low fat cheese!! I was very nervous about getting stuck or nauseous or whatever but, I think because I was so worried I really paid attention to the guidelines of eating with my new pouch! So relieved!! Just wanted to add a little happy to the forum! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have done really well so far with managing the pain and haven't had any nausea or vomiting. So nervous about how next few weeks weeks will progress. You have given me hope! Thank you, I'm glad I can help! It gets better, little by little! At first I was like "What the heck did I do to myself?!" But now I'm happy and I'm getting there! I still have some slight pain on my left side but I have yet to have issues with nausea or vomiting. Follow the guidelines, listen to your body and you will do great!
