OKCPirate 5,323 Posted August 1, 2016 This stuff is really good, 21g of Protein for 170 calories? That is tough to beat. http://powerful.yt/ I found it by accident at the Walmart grocery. Who knew?
chycky 671 Posted August 1, 2016 Pretty good, I like othe oikos triple zero-somewhat similar stats though less fat, slightly more sugar/fiber

I make it with coconut Water for additional electrolytes and Vitamins. Throw a few pieces of frozen banana or pineapple and put it in the freezer for a bit, and it's like a slushy. YUM. OKCPirate 5,323 Posted August 1, 2016 @@chycky - I like those to. I think the highest Protein yogurt is Icelandic, it's just tough to find and expensive.
UK Cathy 977 Posted August 1, 2016 I add a scoop of Protein Powder to plain Greek yoghurt for the extra Protein. It goes quite thick and dry at first but with stirring it goes back to the yoghurt consistency.
chycky 671 Posted August 1, 2016 @@chycky - I like those to. I think the highest Protein yogurt is Icelandic, it's just tough to find and expensive. I love icelandic and skyr they can be much higher in sugar though. You can actually get them on sale from time to time at whole foods and they end up a good deal. I will have to look at their carb count again to see if I can do the 2oz because they are tasty!
higher 966 Posted August 1, 2016 I like the skyr as well but haven't found a brand without super high sugar content. Anyone know?
trekker954 421 Posted August 1, 2016 Is this for vets. My NUT said I can't have any more than 5 grams sugar per meal, including my Protein drinks/shakes.
chycky 671 Posted August 1, 2016 Is this for vets. My NUT said I can't have any more than 5 grams sugar per meal, including my Protein drinks/shakes. Well, for the Oikos label I shared, I am eating less than 1/2 a serving at my 2oz meal so I am well below 5g of sugar. I think the "powerful yogur" would be similar. Most yogurt labels are for entire container, and that is well above my serving size. So these make for a good Protein punch and low sugar.
trekker954 421 Posted August 1, 2016 That's true, didn't think of that. Thanks. Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App
