Daisee68 2,493 Posted July 30, 2016 No rice!! It is sticky and can get stuck. Not to mention the carbs.... Rice is something that should be off the table for a very long time....

KristenLe 5,979 Posted July 30, 2016 On soft mushy foods, who thinks rice would be okay to eat?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Rice is not allowed on my plan. It is dangerous eating off plan this early out. Rice could easily get stuck in staple and cause major complications. Red_lips_and_confidence 148 Posted July 30, 2016 I wouldn't, it'll probably hurt you. Too early. Your main focus always should be Protein protein protein. These early stages are very important for getting protein in, your healing and your body is getting very little compared to before. Make that your main focus and try it down the road.
