So I thought my big incision was the one hurting a lot, but it is really the muscle a few inches below my big incision. I spoke to my Surgeon and asked him if I could use Biofreeze and he said I could use creams & Gels, but I was just wondering if any of you have used this or anything similiar before I do?

Great product but careful around sutures

I use bio freeze for sore muscles after a race. But I agree be really careful around any skin breaks. It will sting like nobody's business!

I don't know about biofreeze, but I can sympathize with this pain. The thing that has helped me the most is compression. I don't have a binder like others suggest on here all the time, but I have been living in really tight pants that support the muscle. The only thing is...now when I'm not wearing the tight pants it is even more sore than before. I'm two weeks out, and everything else is going wonderfully. This pain is really bringing me down though. I can't even get a good night's sleep because of it.

Bio freeze is amazing. I use it all the time and I had a similar pain closer to my belly button. Just insure it's not ok your incision.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
