My go-to is Unjury. Their powders aren't too sickly sweet, and I even like to add the unflavored to a lot of stuff! (like coffee and in cooking)

you're bound to get 100 different answers here because it's so subjective, but my personal favorites are unjury and Syntrax products

I am a huge fan of unjury! I especially like chocolate Splendor with Fairlife skim milk. It is 130 cal with 24 g. Protein, 8 carbs, and 0 fat all in an 8 oz. serving of Milk and half a scoop of powder.

MysticPink74 - You can order unjury online. www.unjury.com

I'm not sure if it's in stores or not, but I couldn't find it anywhere except online.

I am a big fan of inspire (White chocolate strawberry and Blueberry Cheesecake are my favorites) - followed by Syntrax.

For unflavored, GENEPRO is my go-to.

The only Protein powder I could even tolerate was unjury and honestly I found myself not using it. Instead I ended up purchasing premier protien ready made shakes from costco. They taste great have 30gm of Protein per 11 oz. shake with only 160 calories and 1 gram of sugar.

Once I found those and realized I did not have to deal with the grit and blenders and shaker cups I simply moved on down the road.

I wanted to share with you, i have been having issues with getting Protein in. SO i was suggested to try GENEPRO which is not only flavorless it is actually TASTELESS. You add only 1 Tablespoon and get 30 grams protein and it has no taste. I actually love this stuff. Mix it in tea, coffee, chocolate milk and you wont taste it. It was definitely worth the money and AMAZING. just thought i would share with you all!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
