I need advice as I don't know what to do for hydration lately. I've basicly been on g2 gatorade since day after operation. Water does not go well with me (either cold or room temp) makes me want to puke at every sip I take . But for the past few days I can't even have G2 I think it tastes too sweet I tried adding Crystal light to water but same issue . we had some nestea zero here at work tried to have that but it's like I,m drinking sugar Syrup. even diluted Tried Vitamin zero water same thing except I have a powedery feeling on my tongue when drinking it + the sweetness is too strong for me.

don't know what to do anymore for that. any suggestions?

I really like the Mio drops, but I don't add the full amount they suggest on the bottle. Less than half of the suggested amount works great for me, as I don't like the overly sweet taste either.

I like to infuse my Water with some cucumber, lemon, and sometimes mint. I have even added a drop or 2 or organic agave nectar to add a hint of sweetness. Soooo good and refreshing.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
